The Haagen Company approached Soler Architecture + Design to create their new headquarters in an existing one-story brick warehouse in West Los Angeles.
With rooftop parking, this 8,800-square-foot commercial space was a challenge as we had to work with a grid of concrete columns and limited windows.
The office successfully combines warehouse style with mid-century modern and traditional architecture in response to the different generations represented in this family-owned business. We also played an active role in selecting materials, finishes and furnishings, and designed the conference room table.
The result is a streamlined, spacious office that manages to feels intimate and warm.
