Composer Blake Neely purchased an existing sound studio located in North Hollywood to use as his personal recording and production facility. The existing studio had not been remodeled since its’ original construction in the late 70’s. Needless to say, it was in great need of a makeover.
The reinvented studio takes its inspiration from the ubiquitous barns and agrarian buildings from Mr. Neely’s youth in Paris, Texas. The glass vitrine over the entry housing a full scale fiberglass cow provides an eye catching neighborhood landmark and reflects the owner’s unconventional sense of humor. The large operational barn door provides an added layer of security.
